2000 Ford Powerstroke F250 4x4 extra cab Lariat This is an absolutely mint condition 2000 Ford F250 with 49,725 miles on it. You will not find a better maintained or better shape Powerstroke anywhere. All mods on the truck were done with longevity and MPG as a goal, not power. If you are searching for a race truck or a truck that has been worked hard you should look elsewhere. I love this truck and was planning on keeping this truck for 300,000 miles but plans change. It should go 300,000 miles with only fluid changes and general maintenance. Truck is adult owned, never wrecked and never had any problems. I am the second owner. I have every maintenance record and every receipt spent on the truck in a 6" binder. Additionally every oil change has had an analysis by blackstone labs to make sure the vehicle is in top operating condition. I can make the analysis record available to any potential buyer. FYI, 2000 was the last year of forged rods for the 7.3L powerstroke. Many consider it to be the best iteration of the powerstroke. Truck is a Lariat edition, fully loaded with every option (leather, AC, power seat, power door locks, extendable heated tow mirrors, AC, cruise, etc). It is stock height (no lift). The only mod to the body is the running boards. Mods: _________________________________ Engine / Drivetrain / Mechanical: Stancor heavy duty glow plug relay (will last life of truck) - $50 Ford AIS intake system; filters much more effectively than stock and flows more for better mpg - $200 Magnaflow stainless exhaust, 3.5" downpipe to 4" exhaust for better low end torque - $400 DP Tuner F5 switchable on the fly chip with the following programs: 80 hp economy, 60 hp economy, high idle, exhaust brake, 60 hp tow, stock. Also includes transmission programming to make auto trans last much longer and improve shifting - $400 John Woods valvebody and bypass remover (improves shifting and greatly extends the longevity of the transmission) - $275 6.0 transmission cooler (keeps temps below 190* at all times) - $300 Coolant filter with Chevron ELC (extended life coolant), will not precipitate out and ruin the water pump. Water pump replaced at same time preventatively. $365 Ball joints replaced preventatively with greaseable HD units - $180 Tie rods and drag link replaced when aligned (tie rod had small bit of play in it) - $220 2 brand new batteries as of September 2011 - $190 Fumoto oil change valve (makes changing oil much easier) - $30 Bilstien shocks (greatly improves ride) - $250 Hawk LTS brake pads (greatly improves braking and pedal feel) - $85 _________________________________ _________________________________ Maintenance: Oil changed every 4-6000 miles depending on usage with Chevron Delo oil and Ford filters. Trans fluid changed at 25,000 miles with Chevron fluid Front and rear differential and transfer case fluid changed at 20,000 with Redline full synthetic fluid Fuel filter and coolant filter changed every 10k miles _________________________________ _________________________________ Interior: Harman Kardon hard wired Ipod adapter - $90 3m window tint, legal on all windows - $200 Isspro Trans temp, pyrometer, and boost gauges with autometer pillar mount - $240 Later model Ford cupholder (holds cups better) - $50 Duha underseat storage box (under rear seat) - $50 Excursion 'quiet' panels for under dash (keeps vehicle quieter, stock ford part) - $60 Weatherstrip mod (quiets the cab down by inserting silicone tubing into weatherstrip) - $40 _________________________________ _________________________________ Exterior: Rhino liner spray in bedliner- $400 Rubber bed mat to protect bedliner - $85 Bull ring extendable tie downs (fit in stake pockets) - $60 Running boards from Ford (ordered from factory) BFG 285/75/16 load range E tires, approximately 40% life left Brand new windshield from a rock chip as of Sept '11 _________________________________ _________________________________ The bad: Truck has a scratch and a few rock chips on the tailgate Paint on the tow mirrors is greying at the top _________________________________ Truck box and brake controller are NOT included.
