This is my old Subaru. This summer the exhaust system rusted off and I took it to a garage and they started to replace it. I called and asked that they stop work altogether, they said that they were about half way done, and that it would be another $1500.00 to finish putting in a new exhaust system. I knew I wanted a new car, so I told them to let it go, and be sure that they gave me all of the part they they took off of my car. There was one accident with this car, where I was hit from the side on the Drivers side front wheelwell, the alignment had to be adjusted and there was body work to be done. I have the receipt for this work and can provide a scan of it by email if needed. I have the entire service record from when I bought the car in 2007 to today. It has had nothing but premium gas and good maintenance. The rear trunk lock does not work, so to open the trunk you have to stick something into the trunk from between the back seats and then trip the emergency escape hatch. The body damage is from the car scraping against the side of a building in reverse (don't ask, it's a long story involving a narrow driveway and plenty of ice). The rust is in and around the wheel wells as well as the gas flap, and where the spoiler attaches to the trunk. The car has dual front airbags, as well as side impact airbags. The The car is also wired for OnStar service, although i never used it so I cannot speak to it's still working or not. I have the owners manual, as well as literature regarding the OnStar equipment. The interior needed to be cleaned before the exhaust fell off, and therefore it is messy inside. The buyer will have to tow or flatbed the car from Buffalo New York, zip code 14222, because by the time this auction closes I will have turned in the plates and registration. I have the original title I received from the dealer who sold it to me, as well as a letter from the bank indicating that my loan is paid off.
