1982 Honda FT 500 Ascot

This is a 1982 FT500 Ascot. I bought this bike to use as a commuter, about one week into riding it the fork seals leaked. I bought a manual, fork seals and new progressive springs and did the job myself, well they still leak, but am not mechanically inclined so they will have to be done over. Other than that the bike runs strong through all its gears and all electrical systems work as well. Tires are also in nice shaep, no dry rot. purchase a new bike because I don’t have the time to work on this bike, so it has been sitting for almost a year. I went to start it and the battery was dead. I replaced the battery with a new one from Honda, hit the start button and it fired right up. This bike comes with two keys, Clean NJ title, and a Honda factory service manual. This bike is being sold as is where is! Local pick up only! Please ask questions before you bid.
