The gas tank interior is lined and completely clean Starts with electric starter or kick starter Still has original road toolkit Kept in heated storage Runs good, drives good, looks good. With the exception of the new parts mentioned above, and the rear tire (a few years old), everything on this bike is original from 1971. Original paint, seat, gauges, wiring, everything. Nice paint, nice chrome and nice seat. All electrical features are fully functional (gauges, turn signals, lights, starter, horn, etc.). The engine sounds and feels smooth and strong, as does the transmission. No strange noises or rattles. This bike starts, runs, drives, shifts and stops without any problems whatsoever. As should be expected with a 40 year old bike, it does have some minor scratches due to general wear. The gas tank has one small dent on each side (see photos) that could be pulled out without damage to the tank by a paintless dent repair shop if so desired. In addition, the two flanges which secure the headlight each have a bit of rust on them (see photo). Other than the gas tank and the headlight flanges it's all in rather nice condition as you can see in the photos. This motorcycle is registered in New York State which does not require a title for motorcycles this age. Instead of a title, the registration is transferable. With the transferred registration and the bill of sale (which I will also provide, of course) you retain legal ownership of the motorcycle. These are the only two documents required for registration in NY State. This is exactly what I have used in the past to register the motorcycle so I know from experience. As I understand it, this is how it works in most, if not all states. If bidding from outside of NY State, please check your local requirements for registration to be certain. Payment: Deposit of $300.00 non-refundable deposit through PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. The remaining balance must be paid by cashier’s check or cash within 3 days of auction close or the motorcycle will be relisted and your deposit forfeited. Shipping: This bike is located in Queens, NY. This is a local pick up only. I cannot crate. The buyer must arrange for their own pick-up or shipping.
