You are looking at a restored 1967 Bel Air Convertible. The current owner has had this vehicle for the past 8 years and was purchased at a classic car dealer in Florida. This Bel Air has had 4700 miles put on it since the restoration. Our customer has consigned the vehicle to us and it is available for inspection at our facility in Sloatsburg, NY. We do not have any information as to who did the restoration but we can tell you that it is a nice job and does not appear to have filler in it. The panels are straight and tinny sounding as they should be. We are a restoration shop and know how to look at these older vehicles and detect substandard work. We cannot find much wrong with this one which is why we accepted it for consignment. The owner is a retired airline pilot. This Bel Air convertible has had some updates done to it to improve the driving experience and safety. Front power disc brakes, 350V8 with 4bbl carburetor, Turbo 350 automatic 3 speed transmission along with a tilt steering column utilizing the original steering wheel are some of the upgrades done. Additionally, there is an aluminum radiator, electric fan and radial tires. Just enough to make the car much more enjoyable to drive! We have not found any issues witht he car, it drives really smooth and nice, the engine and transmission work well together and do not make any unusual noises and operate as they should. The brakes do not deliver the "white knuckle" experience that the original drum brakes do tend to deliver! This is a turn key, ready to drive Bel Air convertible.
