This auction is for a 2002 Ford Taurus LX that was used as a fire department administration vehicle. It has 68319 original miles and is a rust-free California car. The car comes with a clear California title and in July passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The car is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 3.0L EFI V6 gas engine, automatic overdrive transmission, cruise control, air conditioning, 6 passenger cloth bucket seating, AM/FM stereo cassette radio, anti-lock brakes, tilt steering wheel, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power trunk release, rear window defroster and driver/passenger air bags. The vehicle condition is very good and consistent with most used nine year old fire administration vehicles. This car runs and drives well, has not been involved in any major accidents and still retains its original paint. The tires and brakes are good. Everything on the car works including the A/C. There is an antenna mounted on the roof and one mounted on the truck lid which where used for radio equipment (see photos). The interior has a computer stand bolted to the floor (see photos). The vehicle comes with the spare tire and jack. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance service. Included with the sale are service/repair records dating back to 2003, owner’s manual and original window sticker. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. Full payment is due within seven (7) days from close of auction. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and registration. We are unable to provide shipping quotes or locate/select a shipper. Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction. If the vehicle is being sent out of the country, the buyer is responsible for completing all required paperwork. All sales are final. NO REFUNDS.
