Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a used Dodge Dakota I just bought. I bought it at a local auction and I drove it home and it drives great. But it needs a new water pump. It leaked a little when I bought it, but it has steadily gotten worse and it needs to be replaced before you can drive it any distance. The engine starts and runs good. It will need a new battery as the one in it goes dead if you do not start it for a few days. The engine is a 5.2 and it has lots of power and pep. The transmission is an automatic and it shifts and drives like it should. All the lights work. The interior of the truck is dirty. It needs a good cleaning, and the headliner sags down onto the bald spot on my head - not a nice reminder of how I have aged as I drive it down the road. The tires are all in decent shape and should give lot of service yet. They all hold air fine and have 50% or better tread. The truck has electric windows and locks. The windows work, but the electric lock button does not. The truck former owner removed the air conditioning belt and replaced it with a serpentine belt that does not go over the a/c compressor. The compressor turns by hand, but there must be something wrong with the a/c for them to do that. The old belt was behind the seat if you want it. The paint on the truck is BAD. See photos - it is rusty and peeling and missing and faded, and scratched, and just BAD! There are dents and dings and other war wounds from it having been around as long as it has and having had to work for a living. - it needs a paint job. This is an older truck that I will not guarantee in any way. It does run and drive good, but it needs paint/body work and a new water pump. It may need other things as well, but it still is a decent little truck to drive around in. NO RESERVE! I am selling this truck with no hidden reserve. My opening bid is the least I will take for it. If anyone places a bid, it will sell to the highest bidder here on ebay. LOCAL PICK UP I am a cattle farmer here in Mid-Missouri, so I am flexible about when you want to come and get items you have purchased from me, but I try and keep a schedule for my families benefit. I ask that you come between 9:00 in the morning and 4:00 at night. I am not available on Sundays whatsoever - that is God and family day, so don't ask! Just because I am a farmer does not mean that I am here everyday, I travel around to auctions and surplus sales and am gone several times a week. So don't do like some folks have in the past and drive 800 miles to get here and find out I am gone. You must contact me before you just show up! My granny always said that showing up unannounced was rude - you have to give people notice so they can get presentable. Trucking/airport pickup I have a local trucking company that I highly recommend that you call if you need a quote on having larger items like machinery and large trucks hauled to you. They are DAB Transport and their phone number is: (816)230-4135. They are located in Odessa, Missouri, and are just all around good folks to deal with. They are equipped to deal with about anything you need hauled, including tall bucket trucks and heavy machinery. I am located 100 miles West of the St. Louis airport, 10 miles off Interstate 70 at the Kingdom City exit #148 in Fulton, Mo, 65251. If you buy a vehicle from me and want to drive it home, there is a nice shuttle service that runs between the Kansas City (KCI) airport and the St. Louis (STL) airport. It is called: MO-X. They make a stop at my exit on I-70 at a McDonalds restaurant to pick up and drop off passengers. I can meet you in Kingdom City with your vehicle purchase so you can drive it home. There is also a local license bureau where you can buy a one way trip permit temporary tag if you want one. I require payment in full within one week of auctions end. Once it is paid for, there is no hurry for you to pick it up - take six months if need be! If you don't come get it after six months have passed since the end of the auction, it will be resold, and my wife gets the proceeds. If you have a legitimate reason why you need to wait longer than six months to pick up your purchase, contact me and we will work something out. If you have any questions, you can e-mail or call me at (573) 219-6611. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions! CONTACT ME If you have any questions about this item, or about delivery or shipping, you can call me or email me. Don't be shy! The only stupid question is the one you are afraid to ask. I prefer email as it lets me answer questions at night when I am not busy and it gives me time to find the right answer to your questions. I also run tractors and skid loaders here on the farm and a lot of times I do not hear my phone. I also live in a rural area and in a lot of places I do not get phone service. One of the places I do not get good coverage is in my shop! So if you can't get me on the phone, try back later or better yet, send me an email and I will get back with you. You can send me an email through ebay or you can send it to me directly to: olivetroad@gmail.com My cell phone number is: (573)219-6611 Check out my other items!
