Vehicle Detail

Notice: I am relisting my car at a lower price because I need to sell it as soon as possible. This is an original 1963 Plymouth Fury with Power Steering and with a Push Button Automatic Transmission. I bought it from the Grandson of the original owner who passed away several years ago. I have some of the original paper work that was in the dash, such as insurance papers and a couple of maintenance records from the 60s and 70s. It has the original seats in it that have always been covered with the clear plastic that was used in that era. It needs a paint job but has mainly surface rust with the paint flaking off. It has only two rust spots that I have found that is all the way through. One can be seen on the left rear bottom of the rear glass that is very small, maybe a half inch in diameter and the second one is in the trunk floor about in the center where the bracket that holds the jack in place is. It is also very small and easily repairable. There may be others but if so I have not found them. There are no dings or signs of any damage history. It has a 318 engine and runs perfect with no smoke or rattles and the transmission shifts very well. I have driven it about a hundred miles and it runs down the interstate at 70 mph like a new car. It has been in a barn since 1984 until a few months ago when it had to be pulled out to make way for the Grandsons new tractor. I have since put a new set of tires on it, rebuilt the Radiator and installed a new thermostat and all new hoses. Put new brake pads, brake lines, wheel cylinders on the front and put new brake lines on the rear. I removed and cleaned out the gas tank and all the lines going to it and cleaned out the carburetor and tuned it up. It is original with the original AM radio and original carpets. The glass is in perfect shape with no cracks or chips. As seen in the pictures the only interior problem is the Dash area where the Sun affected it. If you are looking for a great restorable car, then this is it.
