Vehicle Detail
1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass S with option package Y76 aka Knight Here's a link if you want to know more. http://v8cars.hu/cutlass/stuff.php?page=y76 350 V8, TH350 Automatic, power steering, power brakes and SWIVEL BUCKET SEATS, rare and they work smoothly. Factory console with 2 nifty compartments. The good :) Front suspension all new including Upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, adjusting sleeves, idler arm, center link, sway bar bushings, and new shocks. Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor, valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. New starter. New carpet. New package tray carpet. Dual exhaust Starts runs drives and stops like it should. The trunk pan is solid with only some minor surface rust. The front floors appear to have been done (replaced) The rest of the car is pretty solid still. The bad :( Vinyl top is cracking and in poor shape, needs to be replaced. There are bubbles of rust starting under the lower edges of the vinyl top, which will need to be repaired. It's not bad yet, but it needs to be dealt with. It's been repainted, and the quality is poor, it's faded and would probably take a shine, but I would plan on repainting it someday. The headliner is aging but still serviceable. The rubber between the rear bumper and the body is deteriorating and needs to be replaced. (These are available new, I have the company info) Does not have the original steering wheel, the original horn button assembly comes with it tho. No radio, and the heater motor needs to be replaced. I could do this for you at cost, (less than $75) I think the Front ashtray is missing (an easy find) Since it has an Edelbrock carburetor, it needs the bracket for the Trans kickdown cable (available at most parts stores through Edelbrock) PLEASE feel free to ask questions by email or phone 253-592-2378 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM PDT This car is not perfect, but it's an excellent survivor, daily driver, and an easy project to restore. It's classic american iron, and I hate to see it go, but I just have too many projects. Please note the odometer says 40,000 but it may have rolled over BTW it has 5 factory rally wheels, full size spare HURST Rocket cutty cuddy 75 Olds
