this auction is for a 1950 mercury 4 door sport . this car is equiped with the original flat head v8. witch runs like a swiss watch. also has a 3 speed on the column. with overdrive. overdrive works fine. this car runs down the road 100%. brakes are smooth as can be. this car was just found in a barn, had been there for 27 years.this car has been purchased from the original owner.chrome is in excellent condition, not show car, but very nice driver quality.paint is very shinny,looks good,this is by no means a show car. but wow does it look good for the years it has been in storage.Its a real head turner and convesation piece at any car show or cruise in.runs, rides and drives fine. even passed inspection. Changed the oil, plugs and points. runs and sounds great.I would have to say the paint is 30 years old, and probably at that time had work don in rear quarters. I would have to say the trunk is original. Interior is more than likley original. clear plastic is still on rear seat. I took cover off on the front seat. carpets are ok. Head liner is all there. This is a great cruise in driver. Or a great lead sled project. Lots of posibilitys. Or just leave as a 50"s cruiser. Heater and radio both work.
