0 0 0 ESTATE SALE:This listing is for a 1972 Triumph Stag and is a highly modified auto that was built with reliability in mind and the thought that you could take it anywhere. This car was completely redone in every way with attention to detail. The car is modified with a 5.0 345Hp FI engine, a Ford 5 speed transmission complete with all pollution control devices, the control computers and wiring. The car was torn completely down and was restored in a professional manner. Every piece of this car was disassembled and replaced. The remaining wiring in the car was replaced with Painless kits. All the gauges, as well as the heating and AC units, were replaced with modern units.The underside of the car has a Mustang II rack and pinion unit, a Corvette Dana-36 rear end, new springs, Koni shocks, four wheel disk brakes and new stainless steel Stag exhaust. The exterior of the car is stock except for a hood scoop and after- market tires and wheels. The car is Sapphire Blue with blue interior. The only modification to the upholstery was to install four point seat belts over the headrests and 3” speakers inside them. We have logged about 6,000 miles on it since the restoration, including driving it to the VTR Nationals in Valley Forge a few years ago. While this car was built to my taste and desires it did obtain 26 MPG in a recent run of over 500 miles on pure interstate.
