This is an original 1966 coupe, im selling because i no longer have the finances or ambition to finish the restore, its taking up space in my garage and deserves to be driven again. The Body itself has virtually no rust, it was stripped and sandblasted then painted and clear-coated. The front windshield was put in, didnt get to the back, i have the back, all the glass is original from 1966, all the original door handles interior handles and exterior handles, some are a little pitted, didnt get to re-chroming them, bumpers need to be re-chromed, have all the trim, new weather stripping. The frame rails are solid, they dont need to be replaced but should, I have frame rails that are included to replace the old ones, one floor pan has been replaced, the other side doesn't need to be but should, i have another floor pan to replace it with, also included. The engine and transmission are original to the car, run and have matching numbers. Motor is a straight 6 200cu. I have a bunch of extra parts in boxes. This car was driven into a buddy's garage and took apart there, he couldnt keep it so i bought it from him, but i cant finish it. I have absolutely everything that it needs to run, could have it up and running in a weekend. Im missing mainly cosmetic pieces, it needs emblems, some interior nuts and bolts, carpets, the headliner, and it didnt have the original AM radio in it, (which bummed me). The only that had to be replaced was the gas tank, it was pitted and just nasty, thats pretty much the only new piece in the car. Only 31100 original miles on it, with a clear title, even the original key. The car was originally red, but my buddy had it painted black, it needs to be buffered. Great dad and lad project, or a complete showroom restoration. I have the original black seats, but i bought white seats for it. This auction includes absolutely everything, I need my garage back. The only issue is the rear left corner is bondo and when the car got rolled off the trailer the wheel got turned and it hit the side of the barn. The car didnt hit very hard, all it did was crush the small amount of bondo in the left rear panel next to the tail light.
