1974 super beetle, very original even has the owners manual that came with it when new. Has the dealer stamp in the manual and was sold new in Oakland California. It has always been in Oakland since. Runs and drives could use a tune up but runs good. Will sometimes die when you come to a stop but will easily restart or if you give it a little gas it will stay running. Engine is very clean, just leaks a little from the drain plate on the bottom of the case. Brakes work well, no fluid leaks Tires have good tread, it had 4 Centerline wheels but one was lost and now the car has an original steel wheel in it's place. I have another original wheel with tire for the spare. Steering and suspension are in decent shape. Electrical system is in good shape, all lights, flashers, switches, wipers, horn etc all work except for the dome light and the radio. Ignition switch and gauges work well. The floors are solid except for the battery area now covered by a piece of wood. Body is very straight, no accidents very nice shape but has some bubbling in the paint behind the rear side windows. Paint is good except for a scrape on the passenger door and rear fender. Bumpers and all chrome is in very good shape. Interior has new black headliner, dash cover, decent front seats, one tear in the back seat, decent carpet and door panels. Glass is all in very good shape Transmission and clutch work well Registration is one year out, clean California title in hand.
