1964 DATSUN L320 PICKUP TRUCK I’ve been hunting classic cars and trucks most of my adult life...it’s not often I run across a more rare and original truck than this. Sure...the battery and tires are not original, but this 1964 Datsun L320 is an amazing original truck and has been just brought out of indoor storage since 1994. The truck has 53,886 miles on it since new in 1964, and comes with the service receipts over the years to prove correct. The truck still sports it’s original paint which is an awesome color, like Robins Egg Blue. The body, original floors and tailgate are extremely nice. No rust holes found anywhere. The paint has some surface speckles of rust here and there. The truck comes with the original Texas Title issued in 1964. The original owners manual and warrantee cards remain in the glove box. All the lights, wipers etc. work. Even the over head cap light comes on. And get this...after over 16 years, I put a battery in it, and fresh fuel to the carb and after sometime....it started right up!!!! Apparently, in 1994 the truck started having brake trouble and was parked, then sat till now. The engine runs well, the clutch and brake pedal have no current pressure. The wheels roll but not easy. The truck has a 4 speed transmission that shifts well but currently cannot be tested. The truck comes with lots of extra parts in original boxes. The glass is all good and the window roll up or down in just two cranks. For any true Datsun collector this is a true jewel of a find.
