I have beautiful 1990 300 SL with hard and soft top.the car was sitting for log time in my garage and battery was dead and when I jump the car burn the soft top control unit and speed mether cluster . I did contact the Mercedes dealer and they told me this is very cowmen with this car.any way .top open and closed manually .you can find control unit at eBay for $300 .the has original color pain job and it's beautiful. all the seats and carp are in good shape no reap or scratch. there is two small cut by crash bar and that cost $120 to $150 .I replace the speed mother with used newer with 44000 mill .any way the car is 1990 and it's Exempt . car drives beautiful .I have lot more pictures from hard top and soft top but for some reason I can not upload them .they are in good shape . car just pass smog and register last week and tag is good until 08/2012 .very low low reserve.
