This corvette was owned by Lynda Carter ( linda ) AKA:”Wonder Woman” in Long Beach CA from 93 to 05. I have an original transmission repair bill with her signature in ink on it and I have a photocopy of her pink slip with her signature on it. I have also posted this car on her Facebook wall and she has commented on it. This Vette is in good shape. It runs and drives well. It starts up when cold (the choke works) and idles great at any temperature. It shifts stiff, and runs great. It has a nice mean rumble because the exhaust is turned out behind the wheels. It has power windows, power locks, tilt steering wheel, telescoping steering wheel, working cassette player, working popup headlights, and mirrored glass T-tops. I just installed ALL NEW WEATHERSTRIPPING (over $500!) and new seat upholstery ($300). Other brand new items include: headlight actuator, 2 brake calipers, a master cylinder, Window springs, Shift boot, horn button kit and a dash kit. Tires have 90% tread too. It has a 350 engine and a 350 Automatic transmission. I don’t know how “matching numbers” works but I would be glad to send you numbers if you tell me where to look. This car is 32 years old and it hasn’t undergone a complete $30k rebuild so it’s not perfect but it’s nice. There are some very minor issues, in my opinion, but I want to mention every little thing in case you’re planning on buying it site unseen. I have chosen to NOT fix these things only because they don’t “need” to be fixed in my opinion. -The paint is NOT a $4K show quality paint job. It’s freshly painted single stage paint and there are some flaws. Everyone that looks at it things it looks great, but it’s not a perfect “show car” paint job. -It was originally equipped with AC but it was removed before I got a hold of it. The interior fan blows and the evaporator is there so I think it would need a compressor and condenser??? to blow cold again. -It leaks a small amount of fluid (3 or 4 drops). I’m not a mechanic but I can see that the top 90% of the motor is dry so it’s not leaking at the heads or above. And, it’s wet at the lower front oil pan area so I’m guessing it leaks at the oil pan gasket or timing cover area and gets blown backward when driven. -The steering is a little bit loose but not even close to bad enough for me to look into it. Again, it’s not perfect but it’s good. -The keyed door locks are a little finicky. The remote controlled locks work great though. -The mirror glass T-tops have some scratches in the mirror finish The odometer reads 76K miles and according to the DMV that is actual mileage.
