Beautiful 1985 Mercedes Benz 500 SEL. This was the flagship of its time. W126 Long Body Style. One family owned car, non smoker. Car has been in California its entire life. Overall Very Good Original Condition (except radio). The car drives and shifts very good. No accidents, clear, clean title in hand. Well maintained. Garaged and covered when not driven. Smog certificate will be provided to CA buyers only. Auction includes sheepskin seat covers for the front seats and a car cover. Odometer is working and the mileage is correct as of this posting, however, mileage may be slightly higher at end of auction. If you are local, please feel free to contact me for an inspection. The exterior is Champagne Metallic (473) with Palomino Leather (274) The car is equipped with the following: Rear seat bench electrically adjustable - 223 Ashtray and cigar lighter in the rear, illuminated - 227 Outside temperature indicator - 240 Left front seat electronically adjustable with memory - 241 Right front seat electronically adjustable with memory - 242 Electric sliding roof - 410 Headrests in the rear - 430 ABS brakes - 470 Outside rear view mirror left and right heated (electrically adjustable, right) - 505 Becker radio - upgraded to 754 Grand Prix (orig 612 Grand Prix) You can send the unit to Becker and have an ipod jack installed. Automatic antenna - 531 Sunvisors with vanity mirrors illuminated - 543 Folding armrest front - 570 Air Conditioning/Heating - 581 Green insulated glass - 592 Courtesy lamps in doors - 611 Light alloy wheels - chrome - 640 Wood trim, burred walnut root - 731 Heated rear seats - 872 Heated front seats - 873 Reading lamp in rear - 877 Cruise control Absolutely no rust. All electrical functions work as expected, including Clock, Cruise Control, Sunroof, and Air Conditioning! As you can see by the pictures and the free vehicle report provided, the car is clean and has only been driven about 40k miles in the past 14 years! I do not have the all the paperwork for some of the work done to the car, however, the following repairs have been made within the past 14 years: 1998 - New Fuel Distributor 2006 - New Front and Rear Brake Pads and Bushings (I pulled the rear tire off and the brake pads still have plenty of life!) 2008 - New Radiator and Thermostat 2009 - New Battery 2010 - New Water Pump 2011 - Radio replaced, Antenna Repaired, Clock repaired, A/C repaired, Fuel Pressure Accumulator replaced. Also a new OEM grill was put on as the plastic was fading (no damage) Please remember that this is a 26 year old vehicle. It does have some scrapes on the bumpers and a few small rock chips in the paint in the nose panel and front valance. Very minimal wear and tear for this age vehicle, however, I want to point out that this car is not concourse. There is also a small ding on the left rear door that I MAY have a paintless dent removal company take care off prior to the auctions end. Some of the vinyl trim on the door pillars around the seat belts has become un-glued and will need to be re-glued. The passenger side floor mat is missing. Please note, that I ONLY have ONE key for the vehicle. Payment is expected within 3 (three) days after the auction ends and vehicle must be picked up within seven days. I will ship at buyers expense.
