Beautiful 1972 Caprice two door hardtop. Not a show car but a very nice survivor car that has been well maintained over the years. I have had the car for almost three years now and have put about 1k miles on it. Fun enjoyable car for an evening drive or a trip to the local Dairy Queen. Very nice Midnight Bronze metallic paint and extremely nice Covert cloth interior with Covert vinyl top. Please read the following details for my comments on the condition of this time capsule. Again, this is not a show car but a great old machine that can be driven and enjoyed! Just over 50k original miles (no documentation but just look at this car!) 400 small block - 2 bbl Believe to be all original except for Corvette wheel covers ($500), typical maintenance items, and a recently installed rebuilt carburetor (same part number as was original). Newer Firestone tires with less than 500 miles ($400) Original spare tire Purchased from Long Island, NY in November 2008 Originally a PA car I have not found any rust on this car – it’s amazing! Underhood is exceptionally clean. Appears as though some detailing work was done in the past but much appears to be untouched such as the steel fender wells. Interior is beautiful. No tears in fabric or vinyl. Dash is like new. New custom color matched floor mats. Drives like it did when new - by today's standards not so great but state of the art for large American car in 1972! Minor cosmetic imperfections, a ding here and there, not arrow straight but you will get compliments all the time – it is 39+ years old! Appears as though there have been some minor fender benders but nothing major (very very slight paint mismatch in couple of areas). Most would not notice. As with many cars of this vintage the doors require a little extra effort to close. Car turns heads everywhere you go Power steering and brakes AM 8-Track works but AM only plays through rear speaker. FM converter neatly installed under dash. COLD A/C Clock does not work - time is standing still for this car :) I just found a small hole in the muffler so have lowered my price to allow $500 for a new exhaust system (may be able to just replace the muffler) I would like to keep but have too many cars and not enough room Box of trophies and plaques from previous owners included along with owner’s manual, assembly manual, & sales brochure Includes $200 custom fit car cover!
