Up for auction is my 1970 Chevrolet Corvette convertible project. This car is Daytona yellow with a black interior. The engine is the matching number 350ci 300hp engine with an automatic transmission and power Steering. This car has been off the road for a few years waiting for someone to restore it. It is a worthy canidate for a frame on restoration or even a frame off for that matter. The frame is solid with only some surface rust. The bird cage and windshield post are also very solid. It has a great color combination and would be a very nice car when completed. The exterior of this car is very complete with no major body damage other then the heavily cracked paint that looks like it would remove fairly easily. The convertible top frame is in very good shape but would need to be recovered. The interior is all there except for the rugs but would need some attention to make it perfect depending on the level of restoration. The chrome is also driver quality, will need to be polished or redipped for show. The left rear rally wheel is also included and was only removed because it kept going flat. Overall this car is a great starting point for a restoration. It yard drives and stops but is not road worthy. It will need to be transported to its final destination.
