This fee includes Documentary & Prep fees. There is also a Vehicle Inventory Tax that is mandated by law, that amount is .002107% of the sales price. For example, on a $10,000 vehicle this tax will be $21.07. The administrative fee and the vehicle inventory tax are not negotiable and not included in your final bid. Most dealerships charge over $450 on top of the prep fees and Vehicle Inventory Tax which we find to be unfair. These are the only additional fees assessed to out-of-state buyers other than shipping, not a penny more!!! Texas residents pay 6.25% sales tax and a $100 title and license fee, a $39.50 inspection fee, which goes directly to the state for title transfers. All vehicle inspections must be done before auction ends. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE DUE TO RELISTING FEES AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF SALE. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. Fee and Tax Information:
Universal Motor Cars accepts bank wire transfers, bank cashier’s checks, bank loan checks and cash in hand only. Personal check and company check are never an acceptable method of payment unless prior arrangements are made with Universal Motor Cars and are subject to at 7 to 10 day clearing period. All funds must clear our account before the vehicle is released. Deposits are non-refundable. Terms_Deposit: $500.00 Terms_Tax: 6.25% All Texas residents subject to state and local tax, title and license fees. All vehicles are subject to a one time $150 Administrative fee. This fee includes Documentary & Prep fees. There is also a Vehicle Inventory Tax that is mandated by law, that amount is .002107% of the sales price. For example, on a $10,000 vehicle this tax will be $21.07. The administrative fee and the vehicle inventory tax are not negotiable and not included in your final bid. Most dealerships charge over $450 on top of the prep fees and Vehicle Inventory Tax which we find to be unfair. Texas residents pay 6.25% sales tax and a $100 title and license fee, a $39.50 inspection fee, which goes directly to the state for title transfers.
