Fire truck was in service until 1990 in Pole Line Valley fire Dept(Above Tonopah Nevada) It has a straight 6 292 engine with a 2 barrel carb. Runs and drives good, the drivers side rear wheel cylinder just started leaking so that will need attention. I already rebuilt the passenger side wheel cylinders(cost me $85) I will give intructions to whoever buys the rig. The passenger side window is also missing, but this window is available on the open market. Other than that, this truck has a great body style and has huge potential. I was planning on cutting out the top of the existing 750 gal water tank and installing two 330 gallon plastic water totes. 1 for kegs of beer and the other for water, and selling beer at the car shows & whatnot. It has a Gorman Rupp Self priming pump powered by a 5hp briggs and stratin motor. Mirrors that mount to the doors are included. The air cleaner is a K&N. The battery is good( 2 years old ) There is no rust in the radiator. Also there is no rust on the truck body. Some other issues- the drivers side front tire has a tiny air leak(takes about a month to go half flat) The 750 gallon tank is in fair condition. I hit it all over with a hammer and found no major rust. There is a couple 1/8" pin holes rusted through, they could be fixed easily. The bench seat needs upolstry(The drivers side is ripped pretty good).
