Vehicle Detail

2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTPSupercharged Daytona 500 EditionSilver Exterior, Dark Gray Interior30 Miles Per Gallon Fuel Economy, All The Options:Automatic, Sunroof, Heated Seat, Leather, CD Player, Heads Up Display, etc.Just Serviced at the GM Dealership and Professionally Detailed just prior to listing this ad.New Tires on the front, Rear tires look just as good.221k Miles on the odometer, mostly highway.Recently drove it from Georgia to North Carolina (500 miles) with no problems at all, 30mpg even up the mountains.Title is clear, in my name and in hand. Notary available, even on nights/weekends.Cash only, we can meet at your bank or the tag/title office, if necessary.Call or Email with any Questions. Only known "problems" are: 1. "ABS" (Anti-Lock Brake System) light is ON, not sure why. Car brakes fine, even in wet weather it doesn't lock up.2. "TCS Off" (Traction Control System) light is ON, not sure why. Pressing the TCS button does not change the light. This is an optional feature so I've not considered it a problem or tried to fix it. The car handles fine, even in curves at speed in wet weather during acceleration.3. Slight feeling of imbalance (wobble) that seems to come from the right front wheel area at highway speeds (55-60). One person suggested tire out of balance, another said maybe CV joint. It is very slight and hasn't seemed to cause uneven tire wear. The vehicle doesn't pull left or right and doesn't "shudder" when braking. One potential buyer had his mechanic inspect the vehicle. The only thing he found wrong with it was this issue, and he attributed it to worn out tie rods. He said that this is a typical repair for a high mileage vehicle and would only cost $175. The reserve price has been significantly lowered and more than compensates the buyer for getting this fixed. As I described earlier, it is completely drive-able and functional as is, I just drove it 500 miles at interstate speeds with no problems. Folks keep asking about the miles. This car was driven by an older woman 1.5 hours each way to work every day for almost 10 years. It was then driven by my father for a couple years and he took several long road trips. The miles are a mix of city and highway, but mostly highway. The car has never been raced or abused, and they mostly tried NOT to engage the supercharger to keep the MPG close to 30. In other words, the car has the least amount of wear possible for 221,000 miles. Vehicle can be viewed at 271 Rosman Highway, Brevard, NC 28712 (In front of Brevard Tire and Strykes Again Bowling Alley).
