this auction is for a 1951 chevy 4 door convertible. i will be up front with you this is an abandoned project i was taking this for its first cruise and the tranny locked up and gears fell out when it was taken apart. is has since had a 1970 chevy nova rearend installed to put a newer tranny in it, but thats where i stopped and its sat for monthes like this. so all it needs is a transmission and a driveshaft and your pretty much ready to roll. some of the front floor is missing ,mostly from cutting out the rot to replace. it has had some custom work done to it and i will list that in sections body. chopped windshield 4 inches, roof removed, door tops capped, body line mrolded into door tops, rear roof section moved up 14 inches, catwalk flattened, emblems shaved, hood seam shaved, key hole removed from trunk, door handles all shaved, taillights shaved and relocated to the rear bumper. motor. stock 216 it was running great when i was messing with it a couple monthes ago, the carb was recently rebuilt, some new fuel line, new electric fuel pump installed, new points, new plugs. brakes. new front lines, rebuilt master cylinder, rear needs new lines and brakes installed on the nova rear end. wheels and tires. 15 inch steelies in the back, 14inch in the front. tires are painted whitewalls not the real thing, and they dont look very good honestly. 3 inch drop blocks in the rear, 2 inch drop with cut springs in the front. dropping was done in the 80's overall this is a pretty good start to a rat rod, but it was customized in the 80's before i ever got ahold of it and there was more bondo in it then i liked. so i never really go to serious with it, so dont expect this to be a 15 thousand dollar custom your buying. this is just a fun project. shipping is up to you to figure out, local pickup is preferred. dont waste both of our time ,ask all the questions you have before you bid because its yours once you bid, please dont be deadbeat. this is also listed locally clean title in my name, its actually titled as a 2 door because thats what the frame was from years ago. vin number now matches the title if you have any questions at all please dont hesiate to email me at... caseyscustoms@yahoo.comOn Sep-02-11 at 22:13:46 PDT, seller added the following information: hi if you have 0 feedback please contact me before you bid, or i will have to cancel your bid. thank you
