This is an original 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe with a 289 V8 engine and 3 speed automatic transmission. The Mustang was restored 7 years ago in 2004. It has been garaged since it's restoration and is located in San Jose, California, USA. Exterior- The paint is a Royal Blue and is in great condition. It is rust free, it does have a chip in the paint along the front right side of the hood, it is a small chip that needs a little touch up. Other than that it shines and looks very nice. It has a brand new vinyl top and is in perfect condition. The wheels are very nice Mustang mag rims and the tires still have plenty of life on them. Please see the close up picture below for detail on the trend. Interior- The interior is in excellent shape and was completely redone, that means all new carpet, headliner, and seats. The dash is in great shape with no cracks. The original radio and all the gauges are in working condition. Engine and Transmission- It has a 289 V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor. It has chrome valve covers and air filter cover. The Mustang has a 3 speed automatic transmission. It has dual exhaust and the car has a nice strong sound to it when started and also while driving. The 289 is not the biggest of V8 engines but performs nicely in the Mustang. There is no lack of horsepower when you need it in this Mustang.
