Vehicle Detail
2002 Black Volkswagen GTI 1.8L Turbo. I bought this MK4 a few months ago to save on fuel cost being that my morning commute is 36 miles each way. The car is awesome! Great gas mileage about 26 mpg, turbo sounds incredible, A/C ice cold, lots of compliments and head turns. For me, it also comes with speeding tickets....This little rocket cruses at 80/90 mph and a good bit of my commute is highway. Most of the miles come from the previous owner who used the car to run between Long Island NY and Pittsburgh Pa. Don't be intimidated by the mileage because I would put this car up against any car with 1/3 the mileage. I have pictures of the under carriage so you can see no oil leaks what so ever. Does not burn any oil and I know it sounds cliche but I have only used 93 octane and synthetic oil (I own a service station). The VW has a newer timing belt and I have replaced both inner and outer tie rod ends on both sides and axles also on both sides. Full APR exhaust that sounds great. Bilstein shocks and I painted the calipers with Hi Temp red. New Halo head lights that look great at night and I added eyelids. R32 springs, floor mats and shift knob. I get a lot of compliments on the 19" ADR wheels too. I added a center console from a Jetta for the cup holders which are key for morning coffee. The paint is original and looks great, never an accident. It does have normal wear for 140k mile vehicle but still shines like glass. I have the moldings under the hood but am not a fan because they hold the heat in so I removed them and boxed them up. K&N air filter which made a big difference for the turbo. I could go on and on but to sum it up everything works, this car is just so much fun to drive, I hate to let it go. Feel free to email me with any questions I will reply ASAP.
