Here at Bavarian, we sell everything from $200k exotics to $100k RVs and everything in between so I rarely get excited about a vehicle, but vehicles like this dont come around too often. This FJ received a frame off and up TOTAL restoration 8k miles ago. When I say EVERYTHING was restored, I mean it: body, motor, suspension, rear end (low ration gearing) clutch, frame, bushings, flooring, custom roll cage, etc. Ive seen plenty of CJ7's restored and only a couple FJs and this is hands down the most impressive. Having restored a CJ my self and knowing what goes into it, I would guess it took around $25k and get this FJ where it is today. There were no corners cut here with this build, a lot of attention to detail. Why build one of these yourself and spend $25-$30k when all the work and head ache has been done for you. Since in inventory we have put well over 200 miles on it and it drives absolutely PERFECT in every MANOR. This FJ was professionally built and it shows. Please note all parts you see in the photos were bought NEW or restored ONLY 8,000 miles ago and of course stay garaged kept as well. The odometer reads 97,XXX. Exterior ConditionThe exterior of this FJ speaks for itself when you see it in person. The custom paint in my opinion is the perfect color with the black trim and fenders. The wheels are in brand new condition as are the tires which have plenty of life left. All panels and bumper line up perfectly and look great. The winch functions 100% and has no issues. As you will see in the photos, the frame and suspension and floor board show absolutely ZERO rust, the entire truck shows zero rust. The custom roll bar gives it a great look and was professionally built. I tried to include as many pictures as possible so you can see the true condition of the car. You will be very very impressed with with the condition of exterior. I would rate the entire exterior a strong 9.9 out of 10 it truly is that impressive, the paint itself looks amazing from 5' away, but there are areas on it that show minor defects, slight runs, etc but as you see in the HD video from a distance looks amazing. Please note I will show some areas in the video Im referring to, the entire body does not show these defects just some. The hard top is included but was not part of the restoration as are the door but they have been painted to match the body. Interior ConditionThe interior of this FJ is in AMAZING condition. The flooring is in amazing condition and shows zero issues. The custom seats are finished in kevlar and will hold up great over the years, The sound system has been upgraded and sounds great. The photos below will show EVERY part of the interior so you can see for yourself how clean it is. The dash and cluster look great as do all the interior trim pieces. You will be very very impressed with the interior. This FJ is in great condition in every way, the motor runs great and is very strong. All driving components work just as they should, the clutch is nice and tight and shifts very smooth, the brakes work great, the steering is very firm and tight. As great condition as this car is, IT IS a pre owned car therefore you will find some minor wear from it being driven, both interior and exterior. (NOTE: A minimum of two wheels and drums must be removed from each vehicle at the time of inspection. Consult the official inspection manual for exceptions.) 4. - INSPECT PARKING BRAKE FOR: * Broken or missing parts. * Proper adjustment. * Standard factory equipment or equivalent. 5. - INSPECT HEADLIGHTS FOR: * Approved type, aim, and output. * Condition of lamp, wiring and switch. * Beam indicator. Count load in measuring.) 7. – INSPECT SIGNAL DEVICE FOR: * Approved type, proper bulbs, condition of lenses, wiring and switch. * Correct indications and tell-tale (visual or audible). * Illumination of all lamps, lens color, and condition of lens. 8. – INSPECT STEERING & SUSPENSION FOR: (Jack up front end as shown in Manual) * Wear in bushings, kingpins, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends. * Looseness of gear box on frame, condition of drag link and steering arm. * Play in steering wheel. * Wheel alignment and axle alignment. * Broken spring leaves, and worn shackles. * Shock absorbers. * Broken frame. * Broken or missing engine mounts. * Lift blocks. 9. – INSPECT TIRES, WHEELS & RIMS FOR: * Condition of tires including tread depth. * Mixing radials and bias ply tires. * Wheels that are cracked or damaged so as to affect safe operation. 10. – INSPECT MIRROR FOR: * Rigidity of mounting. * Condition of reflecting surface. * View of road to rear (Truck mirrors must extend at least halfway beyond edge of body) – (Visibility 200 feet to rear). Top of page11. – INSPECT HORN FOR: * Electrical connections, mounting and horn button. * Emits sound audible for a minimum of 200 feet. 12. – INSPECT WINDSHIELD AND OTHER GLASS FOR: * Approved type safety glass. * Cloudiness, distortion or other obstruction to vision. * Cracked, scratched or broken glass. * Stickers. ALL UNAUTHORIZED STICKERS MUST BE REMOVED. * Sunshading material attached to the windshield to ensure it does not extend more than 3 inches downward from the top of windshield, unless authorized by Medical Waiver Certificate. * Operation of left front door glass. 13. – INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER/DEFROSTER FOR: * Operating condition. * Condition of blade. 14. – INSPECT EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR: * Exhaust line-manifold, gaskets, pipes, mufflers, connections, etc. * Leakage of gases at any point from motor to point discharged from system. 15. – INSPECT LICENSE TAGS FOR: * Illumination of rear plate. 16. – INSPECT HOOD AND AREA UNDER THE HOOD FOR: * Operating condition of hood latch. * Presence of emissions system -Evidence that any essential parts have been removed, rendered inoperative or disconnected. * Fluid levels that are below the proper level 1. Brake fluid. 2. Power steering fluid. * Power steering belt - proper tension, wear, or absence. We will gladly take the vehicle to your choice of inspection station within 20 mins of our dealership. Additional keys, owners manuals, key fobs, CD cartridges, and navigation disc may not be available if not including in the listing. These cars are driven by employees and test driven by customers and sometimes are on ebay up to 3-4 weeks therefore the mileage can be up to 1000 miles more, but is typically only up to 500.
