General Information: I bought this FJ in February 2006. The original owner restored the vehicle inside and out. This included removing the body from the frame, sandblasting, and repainting. The previous owner also restored the interior. Six months ago I had the engine completely gone through and replaced all the gaskets, seals, and had the engine vatted. There was no boring of the engine. I also rebuilt the transfer case and installed a new clutch and pressure plate. There are 54,225 original miles on the drivetrain. This FJ is clean and dependable. Body and Frame: All metal panels were sandblasted to bare metal and repainted. I had the polaroid pictures but they were ruined, sorry. The tub was painted inside and out. Interior: The original front seats were restored. The jump seat frames were painted and upholstered with black vinyl to match the front seats. New shoulder harness and lap seat belts, along with mounting hardware. New poly gas tank. Tuffy lockbox console. Exterior: Overall the exterior is in good condition. Very little rust and a few minor scratches from normal wear and tear. I bought this vehicle to drive and that's what I have done. Hardtop and Ambulance doors are in great shape. Mechanical: Weber carburetor, header, new clutch. Mechanically sound, everything works!
