1984 Honda Sabre 1100 Motorcycle Honda's "concept" bike back in the 80's this thing combines a V4 1100cc Engine on a "Crotch Rocket" Frame. Early reviews said things like "if you're gonna die on a bike this is the one you'll die on..." because it was light and very quick, (Hang on when you hit the gas, you might be thrown off!) This particualr one has had a rough life, but it still very quick, and very fun to ride. It was used, used for racing, and the carcass purchased by me about 3 years ago. I nursed it back to health, and have it running pretty good right now. It would best be described as a "rat" bike as many "slap it on" mods/necessary reapirs have been made to it. (i.e. the speedometer is a cheap magentic one to replace the broken $800 console, the baffles are from a pair of HD Sportster mufflers weldin into the "horns" of the orginal bike, the originals removed for racing...) The speedometer shows 2,000 some miles, but is merely for cosmetic purposes only.. There are green lights on it, and many accent stickers, (including punisher on headlight!) This bike is running, should be able to be inspected, (but no guarantees), and probably could be ridden home, (I would have no hesitation to ride it anywhere!) New battery this year, back tire has slow leak, needs reseated. THIS BIKE IS SOLD AS IS, AND IS PRICED ACCORDINGLY! If you want a fun beater, project, or just something different, this is it!
