This 1971 Custom 20 Chevy Pickup is in exceptional condition. It feels like a new truck driving down the highway. It is a two owner truck that has had much done to it recently. All of the lights work great, the doors open and close well, the side windows roll up and down well, all of the glass is good. It has Power Disk Brakes that work excellent. It does not have power steering, but steers well without it. The bed of the truck is as rust and dent free as you will ever find. The speedometer and gas gauge work correctly, but the ammeter, oil, and water gauges are not hooked up; However there is an aftermarket gauge pak for the oil pressure and water temp mounted under the dash. The water runs 190 consistently, and the oil pressure runs 50 psi at cruise, and 25 at idle. There is a new windshield washer, but it has a different switch than stock to operate it. The horn works, but also has a separate switch for it. The heater works well, but again, the fan has a separate switch put in for it. There is a manual valve installed in the heater hose to turn on and off the flow to the heater core. Just wanted to mention these quirks before listing all that has been done to it, such as: · Low Mileage Rebuilt 350 with an Edelbrock Aluminum Intake and a 600CFM Edelbrock Carburetor. Runs excellent with no issues · Dual exhaust with 'H" pipe that exits at the rear of the truck; Sounds great · New Alternator with dual Batteries · Rebuilt 4 speed transmission with a heavy duty clutch. Shifts perfectly · Rear end has been gone thru as well · 3 M window Tint applied to all windows except the windshield · New Windshield, Rear Window has been removed and put back in with a new seal · New door Weather Stripping · Newer base/clear paint Looks great, and the paint code, Neon Blue Poly, is on the inside glove box door. I did find some paint bubbles just below the doors and at the very front bottom of the front fenders I never noticed until I was washing it. I have included a couple of close up pictures to show them. · New bumpers, front and rear · New glove box insert · Tires are Cooper Discoverer LT size 235-85-16, and have a lot of tread left on them · Alpine CDA-9884 AM/FM CD Player running to Alpine Coaxial Speakers. Very nice sounding system · Black Tonneau cover is in excellent condition. Three snaps will need recrimped to be perfect · In addition to the main fuel tank, there are two saddle tanks mounted on each side. I have not tried to use them, but they look good. The bed was modified slightly to accommodate the filler necks · Aluminum side steps in very nice condition · New Upholstery and Carpet. Carpet is not OEM type V5 Receiver hitch in excellent condition This truck really turns heads when you are driving down the street. It is a fun truck to drive, and a great workhorse for towing and hauling. I have put in a very fair buy it now price, but please write me if you have any questions first as my feedback rating is very important to me. In the miles I have put on it, it feels very reliable, but of course it is sold "as-is". I will need a 500 dollar deposit by Paypal at the close of the auction, with the balance due within 7 days by way of cash, cashiers check, or bank transfer. All checks will need two weeks to clear. It will come with a clear, numbers matching, Oregon state title. It has current registration thru February of 2012.
