I have for sale a 1978 BMW R100RS with under 1300 original miles on the odometer. I do not have any maintenance records because the bike has so few miles on it. I have changed all the fluids though. I wish I had the solo seat that was offered as an option, but I don't. There is a tool tray, original tool kit, tire patch kit, technical and riders manuals, tire pump, and an original cable lock that came with this bike as the pictures will show. The tires are the originals. The numbers on the carberator are 94/40/107 and 94/40/108. I don't think that this is the big exhaust model. The inside of the gas tank is clean as the picture will show and where the fuel petcocks screw into the bottom of the tank is also rust and corrosion free.The only rust I can find is on the top of the battery hold down strap. There are no tears in the seat or any scratches on this bike that I can see. I do not have the original folding key that came with these bikes, but I know you can buy the blank and have one made. There was also a new battery installed within the last month. Everything on this bike works as it should with the exception of the quartz clock. It seems to not want to stay running, might be a loose connection. I don't know. This bike has been under a cover for 33 years since it was bought new. I have a clear title for this bike. I have described this bike to the best of my ability and I encourage you to look at the pictures very carefully as they will show the pristine condition of this bike,it is like brand new. I have owned this bike for quite some time and it has come time to sell it as I do not plan on riding it. Please e-mail me any questions you may have and I will try to answer them as soon as I can.
