Reason for selling is I recently was involved in a motorcycle accident on a friends bike and it spooked me very badly as to riding on the street again, plus now I have another car that I am trying to purchase and must sell my Hayabusa in order to make up the difference. This bike has a clear title... This 2002 Suzuki Hayabusa limited edition is a HEAD TURNER and consecutive show winner and has NEVER been abused nor molested in any way. THIS BIKE WAS ISSUED IN STREET AND STRIP MAGAZINE IN 2006 and runs and rides better than new! The true mileage of 9000 is not accurate considering I had a tall gear on it for most of the time ive owned it, therefore the mileage just about doubled due to the bigger gear which has been put back to the stock 40 tooth now, countershaft sprocket has also been put back to the stock 17 tooth. I purchased this beautiful bike back in 2003 and its NEVER been layed over on neither of its sides, nor has it EVER been crashed or molested in any way PERIOD, has never even seen a drop of rain! Thru the past 8 years I have built this thing into a Black Beauty. Its is pretained to by most as "the cleanest bike they've ever seen" AND IT IS! Every single stoplight or wherever its parked it draws a slew of attention and questions. I've put my best blood sweat and tears and countless hours into making this bike what it is today, all the way down to its micro-pin detail red paint to black painted fairing bolts. Bike has been ridden less than 200 miles in the last year, I polish it more than I have ridden it lol, and seriously would pull over to the side of the road while riding it just to wipe the bugs off of it lol, thats how pampered this bike has been all its life. This bike has carried mobile 1 full synthetic and Wix filter all its life until a year ago I switched to Royal Purple. The oil is changed every 500 miles only because I have a phobia about my most prized posession, in fact when the oil is changed it comes out still looking new lol. This bike also gets a whopping 50 miles per gallon at normal highway cruising speeds. From its fine point red detail hand painted parts to its black painted fairing bolts this bike screams detail and patience. In fact this very motorcycle was the Guinea pig for sportech windscreens Hayabusa line of windscreens, they actually went thru 5 different designs before they got the catalyst right until finally I was pleased with the last result, so in essence this exact bike is a part of history by itself. The chrome wheels I baked a little longer than normal after I dipped them to give them a darker tinted look only to match the bikes smoke colored decals which they came out PERFECT and FLAWLESS. Here is a start list of the mods......Full Muzzy exaust, EK racing chain, 7 inch bolt on swingarm extentions, Power commander III usb with triple tree mounted lcd display for on the fly mapping (no more hooking up to a laptop for mapping or data logging) Pingel air shifter (runs off nitrous pressure, so no more bulky onboard noisy air compressors), Pingel billet kill switch with lanyard, custom guage faces with dimmer, chrome dash gas cap and triple tree trim, schnitz racing front end lowering strap, adjustable lowering links, hand painted clutch and brake reservior covers, hand painted mirror block plates, MPS kill box, AND for those who worship at the alter of speed its packin a nice healthy dry nitrous kit with liquid dash mounted guage AWESOME dual purge valve and 5 pound NOS bottle with custom billet quick release mounting brackets, and is REDICULOUSLY FAST! Brand new Bridgestone Battleaxe tires, New brakes, hand painted tank cover, K&N air filter, air box mod, ram air scoops, custom front signals and rear tail light antidraft kit. Thats just the tip of some of the mods this beauty hinders, the excellent pictures still do not do this work of art justice. These are just a few of the mods. You will not find a cleaner 2002 Hayabusa on the planet!
