Yes you read right.....16k CARFAX VERIFIED original miles on this 1996 Ford Mustang Mystic Cobra!!!!! The previous owner was in a very desperate family situation and needed to sell this car and I impulsively decided to buy it lol. I had these huge plans of things I wanted to do to the car but in all honesty I'm just tired of buying cars only to mod them and lose money so I'm going to sell this for exactly what I have in it (not a dollar less) to someone who can enjoy it. The car has a perfect interior. The exterior is in great shape after a recent paint restoration done by hand (clay bar, polish, fine polish, wax, hand detail). Paint would be even better with a solid buffing with an orbital. The body is straight as an arrow as it should be with the miles, has all VIN tags and hasn't been wrecked from what I can see. No scratches or dents at all. 2-3 very minor door dings and that's it. I would rate the car conservatively as an 8.5/10. The interior is at least a 9 and the exterior is an 8. Try and remember that despite the mileage the car is 15 years old and not perfect. I'm very picky though. With a little work this car would be close to perfect. However for what I'm asking there is no better deal for such a low mile mystic with a 6spd and a blower! It's priced for a quick sale. A numbered mystic with 16k miles and mods On Aug-22-11 at 19:30:22 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a few of the questions I've received:1) The only known mechanical flaws with the car are very minor in nature. First off the alternator pulley occasionally squeals upon a cold start up. This however goes away quite quickly and sometimes never even happens. Second the car has no catalytic convertors (off road H pipe) or MIL eliminators so it's possible the CEL light will appear although it has not been on. I recommend the car be tuned on a dyno only because it's a good idea for any supercharged car. At that time the tuner can simply flash the computer to prevent the CEL from ever coming on due to false O2 sensor readings. The clutch has a bit of a vibration type feeling in the pedal although nothing is wrong with it from my experience driving the car around town and on the highway. It does not slip and engages very nicely. Could be a simple quadrant adjustment. As you can see these are not serious concerns whatsoever and most cost nothing to address. The car starts, runs and drives just fine. I do not drive the car past 3k RPM's due to not having a current dyno tune for it. Basically peace of mind. The car does not smoke, leak or make any unorthodox noises. Revs smoothly as it should with the low mileage.2) Cosmetically the only known issue is a minor hairline crack in the driver side of the front bumper which can't even be seen in the pics. It was touched up but if you want a perfect car you could have the front bumper resprayed. No scratches or rock chips even!3) Yes I have 95% of all documentation on the car to include SVT certificate, original window sticker, mystic certificate, and the vast majority of the receipts for aftermarket parts etc etc I even have the original cassette demo tapes that Ford gave owners to listen to as they drove off the lot!Again the car is 15 years old. These types of things are to be expected. For the price this car will sell at the next owner will be a very happy person!
