Vehicle Detail
Rare 1982 Chrysler Cordoba. 250,000 miles. Non-smoker. 2 owner car, same owner since 1985 when the car was purchased with 14,000 miles on it. Car was used daily until 1992 then stored and driven very little. Engine was rebuilt at 114,000 miles, transmission is original. Manilla cream with tan leather interior. 318 V-8. Loaded with options including power windows/locks/seat, air conditioning, tilt, cruise, AM/FM radio, and wire wheel covers. Interior is in good condition overall for a 29 year old car with no major problems but normal wear. Headliner recently was replaced. Mechanically sound overall and runs smoothly and quietly. This car will cruise down the highway with no problems at all. The body is good in most spots, fair in some spots, and weak in a few spots. There is surface rust along most of the driver's side but most of the rust is not all the way through the metal. The bottom of the trunk floor has some rust holes where the tires kicked up salt. The rest of the body is mostly sound. The paint is presentable overall but weak and weathered, cracked in places and there is not much shine left. Tires are approximately 10 years old but since the car has been stored, have less than 2,000 miles on them. The vinyl top is in fairly good shape but has a few scratches (no big tears) and there are a few spots where it no longer fits tightly against the body. The parking brake doesn't work. This car would make a fine and unique daily driver, or fix a little rust and apply a new coat of paint and you would have a very sharp car. I would be happy to honestly answer any questions you may have about the Cordoba.
