Up for auction is a 1961 Pontiac Catalina. This is an original 4 door sedan with automatic transmission. Engine is a 389 V8 with the 2-barrel Rochester carb. Good candidate for a restoration or drive it as-is. The Good: It starts up strong every time. It rolls down the road fairly smooth, steers good and stops just fine. All trim is intact. Dash and steering wheel are in great shape. Radio, heater, lights, and wipers all work. Has fresh oil change and plugs. The Bad: The throttle linkage needs adjusting and it needs an alignment as it pulls pretty bad when braking. Body has some rust and dents as seen in pictures. Main dents are in the passenger and passenger rear doors, drivers' side fender, and rear of the car and the windshield has a crack. Rear windows need adjusting as they don't roll down all the way without assistance. Feel free to ask any questions. This car is being sold locally.
