This is a great looking 2004 Mercury Sable GS with only 51,699 miles. The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents, and the title is clear without any liens or encumbrances. This was a very well maintained vehicle, and it runs excellent. We just had the car detailed and New York State inspected in preparation for sale. The driveline in this Sable is in excellent operating condition. The 3.0L V6 engine runs strong and smoothly, and we consistently got 20 miles per gallon. The transmission shifts very well. The four Continental tires are all showing good tread. There aren't any service indicators or warning lights on. The suspension and steering feels nice and tight, and there aren't any rattles while driving this car. All of the power equipment in this Sable is working properly, except the cruise control. We believe the steering wheel buttons that control the cruise control need to be checked. The air conditioning is piping cold! The exterior color is called Gold Ash Metallic, and it looks great. The paint has maintained excellent luster and brilliance. There aren't any exterior flaws other than some bumper nicks and rub marks on the plastic. The factory wheel covers are clean. The undercarriage is also clean and in excellent condition. The interior is in very good condition. The seats and carpeting throughout this Sable is free of any tears or burn marks. All of the interior trim is intact, tight and in terrific condition. The edges of the front visors and headliner on top of the front doors are a little dirty, but nothing major. The front passenger seat has a small stain, also nothing major. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle! This is a beautiful car in very good condition.
