I have a 66 Chevy II SS that me and a friend of mine have owned for ten years or longer. We have got it this far along and haven't touched it in the last four or five years, so I have decided to sale it. This is a real SS car. It was a 6 cylinder SS. This is a real red car with red interior. When my friend owned the car, he trimmed the dash and doors in black, because he wanted black interior. This is a great project car with most of the hard work done. A good friend of mine painted the car about five years ago and still looks great. However the front fenders still need buffing, and the rest of the car could use a going over because of sitting for five years. This was not a cheap paint job, and this is a very sharp car. When it was painted, the front passanger floor pan was replaced really nicely, as you can see in the picture. The driver's side quarter was also replace, but not because of rust. It was replaced because of damage around the tail light. It also has a metal cowl hood, painted both the top and bottom. I still have touch up paint left in case you need it. I have installed a Heidts Super Ride front suspension (not the cheap one). It is all adjustable (the shocks, sway bar, down bars, ect..) It also has a dual master cylinder and booster. The car has a nine inch Ford with 373 gears in it now. I also have a narrowed 12 bolt and 4 bar rear suspension set up that goes with it along with DSE inner wheel houses, QA1 shocks, springs, if you wanted to take this project over the top. I have taken pictures of all the new and old stuff that goes with it. It will need a new windshield, interior kit, motor and tranny, and odds and ends. It now has the front bumper on it!
