This is my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. VIN 1J4FA69S15P368274 with 64,720 miles (I took the pictures @ 1,000 miles ago, so please ignore the odometer pic; I expect to add some more pics this weekend before end of auction). I love it, but my wife is pregnant and it no longer fits into our plans and need for a more family friendly vehicle. I have attached some iPhone pictures taken at my office. Feel free to ask for any particular angles, etc. You may also contact me to come look at it during the work week while I am at work. This is a one owner vehicle with a perfect car fax. There are no accidents or insurance issues. However, in the interest of full disclosure, I did back into something in or about March 2010 that required me to replace the right tail light. There was also a slight dent on the panel behind the assembly so I had them replace that before fixing the tail light. There were no actual mechanical problems with it - never had to take it off the road - just cosmetic - but it was fixed as is evident in the picture(s). In fact, I drove it that way for about a year before getting around to fixing it. (I was pulled over twice due to the missing tail light, but somehow avoided a ticket both times!) There are no title problems and the title is clear and is in hand. The condition if this jeep is excellent as far as I am concerned. I am a lawyer here in Fort Worth and have not taken the vehicle out for any rough trails - just highway and residential street driving - it has been my daily driver. No off-roading. On the outside, the paint is very dark green and looks excellent. There is no fading. There are no scratches, dents or dings that I have noticed other than a small ding on the front hood just above where the right headlight rests - I assume it happened while driving on the highway some years ago, but in my opinion it's insignificant and not noticeable unless you are looking for it. The windshield has no cracks or chips. The top is perfect as well. The wheels have no curb marks or oxidation. They look as good as the rest of the Jeep. On the inside, the seats show no sign of wear. The dash, seats, carpets, etc. are all clean. I'm usually wearing a suit while driving it, so that should give you an idea of its cleanliness. Also, this is a non-smoker's vehicle. Options include the standard air conditioning, tilt steering, and the factory AM FM CD stereo radio. Mechanically, it runs just like it should. I've never had any problems starting it or driving it. The 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine starts quickly, runs quietly and has lots of power. The 6 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and makes driving this Jeep even more fun. The 4-wheel drive system works perfectly, though I have rarely needed to use it - maybe 4 or 5 times on the few occasions that it actually snowed/iced here in Fort Worth since late 2005. The front end is tight. There is no sway or wobble. The frame and all components under the jeep show no signs of damage or rust as it's been a Fort Worth highway/residential road vehicle all of its life. My clean retail and/or private party valuation per NADA and Kelly Blue Book has this hard to find Rubicon at over $17K. I'm listing it for $14,950, which is significantly lower than it is worth. I know it will get one or more bids based on this price, so please consider the Buy-It-Now. I prefer to receive the money via wire to my bank. You can call and discuss with me, including exchanging info so you know I am a "real person" or we can meet in person at a bank where you can get a cashier's check and we can exchange the title and execute the necessary state/county paperwork. I will need a $500 nonrefundable deposit within the subsequent few hours so that I know you are serious, so please contact me to arrange that within the first hour after the close of the auction or I will just relist it. If you are far away, we will need to coordinate all of that over the phone/email, etc. I will not sell outside of the continental U.S. and I will not make arrangements for shipping via car transport, etc. If that is needed, it will be the responsibility of the buyer and any damage during transport will be an issue and/or dispute between the buyer and whichever transport company they hire. I just need to sell my jeep now that I am supposed to be a responsible dad and all that stuff. I'm neither interested in an overly complicated sales transaction, nor do I have time for it in light of the demands of my job.
