We at Midnite motor Classics in Margate, Florida are proud to present AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN this very nice 1984 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo-Choo Description Year 1984 Make Chevrolet Model El Camino SS Mileage Unknown Exterior Red Metallic Engine 305ci V8 Transmission Automatic Here's an opportunity to own a true American classic. This USA-produced 1984 Chevy El Camino is in very good condition, and the 5.0 liter V8 runs great. This is the SS model with a "Designer Edition" conversion by Choo-Choo Customs. It features a custom front fascia and side exhaust. According to Wikipedia: "The 1984-87 El Camino SS was offered as a conversion (completed by Choo-Choo Customs Inc., of Chattanooga, Tennessee) to include the aerodynamic front end of the concurrent Monte Carlo SS, and received the L69 engine package, which included the 190 hp 305 V8. For 1985, GM shifted El Camino production to Mexico, and the new 4.3 L was standard through 1987." note: we can't confirm the info contained in the Wikipedia quote, it is provided for your information only. DEALER SALES HANDOUT: While you can proudly take this El Camino SS to local meets, its not quite in top show-quality condition. It is very nice though - one of the nicer driver's we've seen. It has an older repaint, and the paint still shines all around. The body is straight, and there are no noteworthy dents or dings. There are a few small stone chips on the front of the hood, but they are minor. The Autocheck report shows no accident history or any other problems. Exterior features include a custom front fascia, side moldings, side exhaust, a hood scoop, rally wheels and bed rails. This El Camino has a full bed liner. The interior is also in very good shape. No holes, rips, or tears in the seats. The air conditioning blows cold and the radio plays (cassette not tested). We would like to note that there is a stone chip in the windshield (right center of above picture, trees seen behind it) The dash is nearly perfect - there is a small crack by the left speaker grill - otherwise, very nice. The manual is with the car. The motor is a 305 cubic inch V8. Original factory ratings were 160 hp and 235 lb-ft of torque. Wikipedia says that Choo-Choo Customs increased the horsepower on these cars to 190. We can't confirm if that's accurate statement, but the car does run strong. We do not know the mileage on the car. The odometer reads 04511. The underside is not quite clean enough to eat off of, but there are no fluid leaks, and there is no rot. No rust on the rear quarters, either. We do not reveal reserve price amounts, so please don't ask. We prefer to see all auctions through to the end in order to get the best price for a vehicle. We are a dealer however, and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back. Payment and Fees We will add a $249 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. This is to cover the cost of doing business on eBay. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up (sorry, we do not accept credit cards or Paypal at this time) . If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter.
