Up for auction is a 1936 Chevrolet Flatbed Truck. This is a classic and we think the milage is correct at 28K. This truck has not been restored but has been painted and fixed-up over the years; this is a surviver. Now please don't misunderstand this truck has had a lot of work to keep her looking good but it was never a derelict hulk that needed restoring, it has always been a well looked-after truck. It was used as some kind of advertising piece at sometime in its career and no-doubt it got a face-lift and a paint-job at that time, and of course its had lots of bits and pieces done since then to keep it looking good, but nothing major. The truck starts and runs at a moment's notice and is always well received when she goes out and about. It has a good engine, good brakes, good transmission the lights work and in general everything works as you would expect a well looked after 75 year old truck to work. Please don't think you are going to drive this truck across the country without it having trouble, its not going to happen; heck, it couldn't do that when it was new. However if you want a lovely old truck to play with and enjoy and spread happiness with this is the one. I'm selling this for a friend but I know the truck and have ridden in it several times, but I will answer your questions with my friends help.
