You are bidding on one 2001 Triumph Legend 900 TT with 13,082 miles in excellent condition. This bike is the last year for the 885 cc triple, boasting a three cylinder engine that sounds just awesome! The bike runs like a top; power rolls on smoothly, and the transmission shifts like butter. This is a very versatile motorcycle, and can be customized in a number of ways to suit almost any rider. Triumph has a lot of accessories for this bike to make it into a touring, cafe' style, or maybe even a bobber styled bike if the taste suits you. This is a lot of motorcycle for the money. The bike has recently had service work done including an oil change, carburetor synchronization, and a new ignition coil. The previous owner had the bike inspected in February 2011 (He originally intended to sell the bike, but wound up holding off). The inspection certificate has expired, but the bike should still make it through no problem. The only thing I found wrong with the bike was a missing reset knob for the tripmeter (which I have ordered, and will be included with the sale when the part arrives), and one broken spoke on the rear wheel. The spoke is an easy fix, and can be replaced when a new rear tire is installed. I will say the tires are in good condition with no cracking or anything, but the tread is getting pretty close to the end (probably on their last 1000 miles). Therefor, I would just like to say, for the sake of safety, that I would recommend a new set of tires for whoever wins this beautiful bike. Overall, this is one sweet bike for the money, regardless of needing tires or not. I have no doubt that you can ride this right across America tomorrow if you wanted to.
