This is a exceptionally clean Alpine Silver( Alpinesilber) 1997 BMW 528I 5-speed with black interior. This Bmw was attained privately through a customer and was very well maintained. The previous owner was a very meticulous man and has driven 20,000 miles in 4 Years! From what I gathered this was a weekend car because the owner had his company truck that was driven daily. I am a BMW technician at a renowned BMW shop in Philadelphia( I cannot mention the shop name on EBAY for safety and legal reasons but a simple search in google will give it away). According to records the water pump and thermostat have been replaced about a year ago.Also as I was replacing the valve cover gasket I was astonished to find how clean the engine was, meaning the Oil changes were up to date. I also changed the oil with TOTAL 5w-30 and a Mann filter which are both known brands in Europe and higher standards of brands sold in the USA. Since I have been driving the BMW its been about 400- 500 miles since the oil change and I'm enjoying every moment of it. The rack and pinion will be replaced by the time the listing ends, for now the rack leaks that is why the car is a little wet under the car. THIS WILL BE REPAIRED BY A HAND CHOSEN LIKE NEW STEERING RACK AND PINION! I replaced the Auxiliary fan with a brand new unit and freshened up the AC Charge and checked for leaks so the charge will last! Now the AC blows like a brand new car. There is a NEW BOSCH battery installed as-well. This BMW is fitted with 16inch Conti-Contact runflat tires that appear in good condition. The clutch feels great and the 5 speed transmission shifts with ease. Runs, drives and brakes smoothly. The interior is VERY CLEAN and the rear bench doesnt even look like it was sat in. I have cup holders that are not pictured but did come with the car and were intact( bmw cup holders are known to be flimsy) and side seat covers are also intact and not damaged... the 5 Series was known to have them broken in every car, these are intact as well! 2 Owner car. The first owner was a Businessman and the second owner a was a meticulous Electrician with his own business, hence why he only drove his company truck and this was a weekend car. The inspection is good until April 2012 There are some scratches and minor damage so please review the pictures closely, I pointed out what ever I can. I did not polish the car, I'm sure if you polish the car most of it would disappear. The car already has a beautiful luster. This Color, Interior Color and Manual transmission combination is a true rarity.
