Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a nice Impala convertible that has been owned by the current owner for almost 20 years. We have been given the car to sell on behalf of the customer on a consignment basis. We have done some work on this car and are somewhat familiar with it. We just replaced the hood as it was rusting on the edges. We also restore the spatter paint on the trunk and repainted the front fenders and replaced the power steering pump. The trunk floor has been replaced sometime prior to the current owner obtaining it. It also was repainted prior to the current owner buying the car. New trunk mat also just installed. The interior is in good condition and really does not need anything but it does show some aging or patina but no holes or rips. The top is in good condition and the mechanism is in good working order. The engine compartment could use some sprucing up if you wanted to go to your local shows and wanted to be able to leave your hood open. We could certainly redo the engine compartment leaving the engine in there for an additional $1000 if desired. The engine was decoded to be a 1973 Camaro 350 with a 2bbl carburetor. It runs very smoothly and has no issues whatsoever, no unusual noises or smoke. The transmission shifts as it should. The brakes work well for being drums. As mentioned before, the power steering pump was just replaced so it works well. Overall this is an excellent driver. Not a perfect car but a car you could get in and drive as it is. If you wanted to do some tweaking to it you could but it would only be because you wanted to do it not because the car needs it. The undercarriage is in very nice condition and no rust through is evident. Appears to be solid with only the usual surface spots here and there but nothing indicating any perforation. Any questions, feel free to call Melvin Benzaquen at 845-712-5500 during normal Eastern time business hours. It is on premises and available for your inspection if so desired. It is currently insured and inspected and owned by an older gentleman.
