This cute little micro car was restored to look like a Fiat Abarth. Note: ("It is NOT a Fiat Abarth") It does have a Fiat 126 drive train with the 650CC engine. The engine and drive train were installed approximately 2 years ago. The car was restored to be used and driven in modern daily traffic. The engine has been resealed and the head rebuilt. New sport muffler installed. New fan belt, plugs and points and condenser. Carb rebuilt. The transmission was gone through by Robert Rodgers of "Shade Tree Mechanics" the local Fiat Expert. New lay shaft and gear clusters ,seals and axles installed. A new clutch plate, pressure plate and throw out bearing installed. This work has made the car very reliable and fun to drive. The aluminum wheels and tires cost over $1,000. It has a leather sport steering wheel and Checker Board sun roof. New rear shocks, Abarth decals. The paint and custom upholstery were done in years past and are very presentable but not perfect as the paint has minor scratches and dings fitting the age of the restoration. This car has won the 1St. Place People Choice award in the Italian Car class at Dallas "All British and European Car Day" for the past two years. It is a real attention getter. It is not unusual for this car to beat the Lambo's and Ferraries due to its cute factor. The car starts easy and handles well. I am selling the car as I have lost my storage.
