Vehicle Detail

1998 Chrysler Concorde LXi, 4 door sedan in very good condition. I am the second owner, I bought this from the original owner 5 years ago. The car has 166,230 miles, and this car has been one of the best vehicles we've ever owned. A very reliable car in every way. The miles are highway miles- I bought this car at about 30,000 miles, and my job has had me driving up and down I-85 here in NC for the past five years. I have been meticulous about regular oil changes and maintenance. One year ago, I had new front brake pads and a new battery installed. Had the serpentine belt replaced about 20,000 miles ago. The front tires are only one month old, and the rear tires have 95% of their tread left. The air blows ice cold, and the 6-CD changer in the trunk works great. Leather interior is in near-mint condition. Headliner is perfect, and the car was never, NEVER smoked in. No odors. Ok- here are the blemishes (see pictures). Arm rest on driver's side door is slightly worn. On the back trunk lid, the letter "o" from Concorde is missing. There is a very small ding in the windshield that happened year's ago. The car has never been wrecked, never been bumped or damaged. But there are some door dings and a few blemishes around the body. Under the front bumper is a tear or "rip" in the bumper faschia (see picture). This came from a high parking lot curb, that had a jagged metal rod sticking up about a half inch. I parked and heard a slight "scrape" sound, and when I backed out, this high curb and rusty metal rod caused that rip. It punctured the car body under the bumper- but the damage is only cosmetic. This was two year's ago, and I have not fixed this. It is only cosmetic- not mechanical damage, and you don't even notice it unless you know to look for it. The car is perfectly aligned, does not veer left or right. The car averages 26 miles per gallon on the highway. It is a very dependable car, and a very safe car. It is not perfect, and I have priced it accordingly. But it is a very good, solid car. We just got a newer car, and this one needs to go. Thank you for looking.
