Vehicle Detail

I am selling my one owner 2003 Ford Windstar minivan, the Kelly blue book value is $4,540 I believe in being honest and up front so I will tell you the good and the bad of the van, I have kept outstanding records on the van since I purchased it new in June of 2003. I will pass to the new owner the orginal owners manual, invoice for the purchase, warranty (yes some expensive parts are still under warranty) info and my excel spread sheet showing when and where the vehicle was serviced. I believe in having the oil changed every 5,000 miles for each of my vehicles to make a car last, I also kept up with regular maintainence on this van. In maintainence and upkeep I have spent over $7,500 since I purchased the minivan, I always installed quality parts. The Good: It has many new parts -4 Goodyear tires were installed by the Dover Sears on 9/5/11 for 469.00, a allignment was also done at the same time. I last rotated the tires 6,000 miles ago -On 12/2/10 I installed a new Ford warranted transmission at a cost of $2,800 it has a 3 year warranty good at any Ford Dealership, I will pass on the paperwork to the new owner -On 2/13/2011 I had new front brakes, rotors, a brake fluid exchange, tune up (with new plugs) and a serpentine belt put on the van at Pep boys for $597, the brakes are under warranty until the van hits 150,000 miles -The van has power locks, CD player and radio, power windows, you can remove the back two seats if you need to haul something big or just room for suitcases and seating for four on a long vacation -For the first 100,000 miles the van was covered by a bumper to bumper extended warranty which paid for a new mainfold, front struts, and a pentitometer -The van has been involved in one accident (technically) which did not leave a mark on the van. My wife was slightly bumped when a car two cars back rear ended the van behind her. Since my wife was pregnant at the time of the accident the police officer wanted to make sure she was included in the report, even though we suffered no damage. We are non smokers, so the van has no odors. -The van is Delaware State inspected until December -The van comes with a 2011 Delaware State Parks annual pass -The van has two sliding doors for easy entry to both sides The Bad: -The drivers side window motor is worn out so it will not roll down, when you press the button you hear it hum which tells me it is getting power and makes me comfortable to believe it is the window motor. I was told by a friend at a dealership that is a $225 repair with labor but the part is only about $40 if you can do it yourself -There is a 2 inch crack in the rear fendor, pictured in the photo look below the key hole on the rear center of the fendor, it is not that noticeable unless I point it out. There is also a dent in the bottom of the front right left bumper -Every so often the interior lights come on(once in a blue moon) for no reason at all, it has happened as long as we have owned the car, we had this checked 4 times while under warranty and two different dealerships could never find a problem. We just learned to live with it, I don't think the van is haunted or anything -The van is 8 years old there are some chips and scratches but overall as you can see from the pictures it is in good shape, only the normal wear and tear you would expect from an 8 year old minivan As you can see I am very straight forward. I am willing to deliver the van to anywhere within a 500 mile radius for .85 per mile to cover my gas both ways. Check out my feedbeck rating and bid with confidence! Here is a link to a Cars.com ad for a the same van with 131,000 miles at a dealership in PA for $9,000. I like Cars.com casue they have outstanding reviews and honest ratings of cars: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&csDlId=&csDgId=&listingId=42719934&listingRecNum=0&criteria=sf1Dir%3DDESC%26mkId%3D20015%26stkTyp%3DU%26mdId%3D22375%26rd%3D75%26crSrtFlds%3DstkTypId-feedSegId-mkId-mdId-yrId%26zc%3D19946%26rn%3D0%26PMmt%3D1-1-0%26stkTypId%3D28881%26sf2Dir%3DASC%26sf1Nm%3Dprice%26yrId%3D20198%26sf2Nm%3Dmiles%26isDealerGrouping%3Dfalse%26rpp%3D50%26feedSegId%3D28705&aff=national
