Relisting, recent transaction with winning bidder of prior listing fell through and I didn't pursue 2nd chance bidder as thanks to an eBay member I was able to determine an occasional starting noise I disclosed in prior listing is not a problem. Apparently it is a typical problem with the old larger air cooled Hondas -- it just needed a fresh battery and a couple bolts tightened on the starter clutch under the left engine cover, all gears involved are fine and looked like new when I had the cover off. (I had disclosed that I thought there might be a chipped tooth on a gear, it would sound terrible, but for some reason best I could recall it only happened when the battery wasn't fully charged.) I also added more pictures, and also updating from prior listing my comment on how it runs -- while it ran great when I last rode it regularly 5 years ago, I thought some blubbering on getting it going to list it last time was just old gas and cold engine. As part of fixing the starter and putting in the new battery I also drained the tank and put fresh gas in it and while it starts easily I now notice even warmed up it seems to have some trouble keeping all cylinders firing at lower rpms and without extra throttle. Keeping the choke on fixes too so I think it probably needs one or more carbs cleaned. I kept them drained for the most part over the years but it's probable there were some stints where they weren't -- I would get it running once or more a year. I kept the tank full and had Stabil in the fuel but it had become quite old. Front brake calipers are sticking and need to be rebuilt, I have all of the caliper seals just never got around to doing it. Rear seems ok, I had rebuilt them at one point. No other problems to my knowledge. Tires decent but older. Last fully on the road about 5 years ago. Battery as mentioned is new. Otherwise 42K and cosmetically great. Tank and plastic near perfect just some slight fade from age on plastic only and a few marks near helmet holder on side cover due to its use see pics. Aluminum on engine could use clean up too but otherwise in good shape. Engine rebuilt at 18K when I bought and restored it in 1991. Tank new then along with new paint and decals on front cowl and tail section. All original except very nice Corbin seat and Kerker 4-1 exhaust. Has owners manual and original Honda toolkit.
