Selling my 1968 Mercedes Benz Unimog for low reserve... My personal favorite of the collection. We just added a new child to the family and this one has to go. No time to enjoy it. Its really a blast to take around town. You will be the star attraction in this ultimate off road vehicle. See the pics below. I just won an award this weekend at our local car show of over 200 cars! It was the most interesting vehicle of the show. People just love to take pictures next to it. It is a very original low mileage gas Unimog with 6 cylinder motor and manual transmission. 6 forward gears and 2 speeds for reverse. Owned by an older gentlemen for over 10 years in his barn in Northern California. He never drove the car and bought it because he liked the car so much and its original condition. It has only 39k kilometers or 24k miles. It has no rust which is very rare on these off road vehicles. You can see how well preserved the chassis and body are. Look at the frame and suspension parts. Clean clean clean. This car was kept up very well and not missing any parts. All of the original tools are in tact under the rear deck (shovel, pick, axe, etc), canvas cab cover, rear cargo cover, tire chalks, snow chains, rear benches, and all of the keys. Jerry can gas cans are still there. Fuel dipstick to check your gas tank is still hanging on the passenger door. So cool :) Servicing has been done recently. Brakes were all serviced and bled, oil changed, fluids flushed and vehicle was road tested. She fires right up on first start of the push button start. All of the gauges are working properly. Speedometer, odometer, brake lights, head lights, wipers, horn, and signals. Both fuel tanks and reserve tank work great. Has a selector for switching between tanks. PTO winch ready. She is so easy to drive and she commands the respect on the road or off road. People know the Unimog for its off road capabilities but this beauty queen has not been abused or taken off road. It is an engineering marvel and it is a really nice piece of machinery to appreciate. Use it for your barn, lake house, Lake Tahoe home or ranch vehicle. Some say it can be used for advertising your business since its so unique and big. It can serve you for many years to come for any purpose. Clean California title in hand. Registered until June 2012.
