I am reluctantly selling my 300 SDL, need some extra cash for a home purchase. What I have is a 1986 Mercedes Benz 300 SDL with 270,600 miles on her and I am asking $6,000 OBO. Only one owner of this vehicle. The Car runs great. The problem is that the key lock is broken and runs about $150.00 dollars. The car has been sitting for about 7 years in a barn. There is a small rust spot towards the front tires and fadin on the paint but other than the small rust spout and faded paint the body has nothing wrong with is just needs a new paint job. The inside has some minor sun damage to the dashboard, and near the windows there are some tiny cracks. The engine runs smooth. It will need an oil change and new gas but other than the rust spot, paint and new key lock this Mercedes would be well worth more than $10,000 dollars. It is one of only 13,880 sold.. It is the largest Mercedes for its type ever built. Plus the turbo diesel sounds awesome. I would love to fix it up myself but I don't have the extra money to put towards fixing even these small problem as my main car is in need of repair. Will be a nice buy for someone who already has a little bit of money to fix the lock and the cosmetic damage. I estimate $400.00 to get it back to pristine condition. This car will be detailed as best as possable before pick-up or shipment is made. Please notify me if you would like the gas and oil changed.
