Vehicle Detail

THIS TRUCK MUST SELL, NO RESERVE 3 day auction Bid to own it! The engine is a 454 crate engine, all stock as far as I can tell.(CE558100 stamped on the block P/S front) It seems to run good and strong, did not overheat after driving roughly 30 minutes on a 95 degree day. Topped at 210degrees. Oil pressure 40-60. No battery related issues.Small oil leak appears to be left side oil pan but could have been fron the valve cover gaskets (just changed them) The transmission is a TH350C as indicated by the MV4 on the transmission. This code is for the lock up torque converter but I dont know how to confirm this. The rear end is a 12 bolt gm non posi ratio unknown. I had it on the hiway and the engine wasn't screaming so I assume they are avgerage. It seems to be bolted to the original leaf springs. When I got the truck I was told the front sub frame/suspension was from a 1973 Chev pick up as was the rest of the drivetrain including the power steering and power brakes Front disc/rear drums. The chev frame os welded to the ford frame just behind the engine. I do have a rusty tailgat that wil go with the truck but it will take a skilled bodyshop to bring it back to life. The mileage stated in the ad is from the odometer. I have no idea how many actual miles is on the truck or the drivetrain. The tires run very close to the fenders and yes they rub on occasion but I don't see any scuff marks on the fenders or rub marks on the tires. I noticed small cracks between the treads but there are no leaks and have good tread. The air scoop is operational The ebrake handle is in place as are the rear cables but they are not hooked up Speedometer needs to be hooked up. The headlights, tail light, and blinkers all work. This includes the flashing arrows in the gauge. The wiring harnes has the blade type fuses but I don't know what vehicle it came off. TThe electric wiper motor comes on but wiper arms are needed. There are no mirrors but they are readily available. The fenders and running boards are fiberglass. Paint looks fresh but a few scratches. The paint on the bed is new and plenty left for the interior. Oak slats just had 3 coats of varathane and look great. There is no heat or AC I have only had this truck on the road for 40 miles and it rode like a 52 ford w/ 73chev front should ride. It's a stiff suspension but so much fun to drive. I have been asked if the truck would make a long trip to ???? I really have no idea as I have only had it on the road a few time. It runs good, it starts good, transmission shifts good, rear end will still burn rubber, and the brakes are good. You decide. Someone spent a lot of time and money on this truck. It is a great start to a super nice 52.
