1978 Morgan 4/4 You are bidding one of the finest Morgan 4/4 that is available now! The unheard mileage of only 22,681, and in like new condition. The wood is like new and there is no rust. It has had a recent respray and has just a few minor chips. Some of the highlights include: new tires, 72 spoke chrome wire wheels, stainless steel exhaust, high torque starter, new master cylinder, new coil, electronic ignition, new battery, remote king pin (sliding pillar) grease fittings, tripod headlights, leather bonnet strap, front disc and rear drum brakes, badge bar with fog lamp, electronic auxiliary fan, wind deflectors, top with side curtains and full tonneau cover. The top is in like new condition, but when installed it looks rumpled (see pictures) but who drives this classic machine with the top up? A Ford four cylinder 1600 cross flow competition engine, with double choke Webber carb and headers powers this fine example. Many heads will turn when they see you driving this 2 seat roadster. Just an exciting feeling! Those of you who are familiar with Morgan’s are aware that these are hand made machines, made in England by the third generation Morgan family to exacting standards. Their production is usually only 10 units per week so they are a highly sought after English classic. This is a 33 year old classic so as one would expect it is sold as-is-where-is. However I would have no problem driving this Classic Morgan cross country. I have used it for local car shows, club events, which include regular monthly 100 to 150 mile trips for lunch or dinner and just joy riding in the countryside or trips to do errands for my wife.
